Baby Shower

Join us Sunday, March 12th after the 11AM in the double meeting room of the Xavier Center for a baby shower to benefit The Little Way Pregnancy Resource Center. The shower is hosted by the HS Youth Group, Women’s Club and Respect Life Committee.

Love The Hungry

HELP US HELP OTHERS THIS LENT

Our Saint Francis Xavier community is joining the Love the Hungry organization for a packaging event.

Join us on Sunday, March 26th from 12:00-2:00 PM as we will be packing 20,000 meals in the Upper Parish Hall to be sent to third world countries. Please RSVP at SignUpGenius if you plan on attending or email/call the office. All are also invited to help support us with prayers or financially by sending a check to SFX Attn: Love The Hungry, or donate online. Each meal costs 35 cents.

Volleyball in the Xavier Center

We are excited to announce Monday night volleyball in the Xavier Center from 6-8PM beginning Monday, January 9th – February 27th. Monday night volleyball will begin with warm-up, followed by pick-up games. This activity is for high-school age and above. Participants must sign a waiver and wear proper athletic footwear. We look forward to seeing you on Monday nights!

Sunday Night Hoops

Dust off those basketball shoes, text your buddy & tell them to meet you in the Xavier Center on Sunday’s from 8-10PM for men’s basketball; pick -up games and shoot around. Sunday Night Hoops begin on Sunday, August 7th. Must be 18 years or older. Contact Justin Hall at (502) 428-6595 or the parish office (502) 538-4933 for details.


Tai Chi in The Xavier Center

We are excited to announce that Tai Chi will be offered in the Xavier Center Meeting Room beginning August 3rd and will meet on Wednesdays at 10AM for 8 weeks. This class will utilize a program developed for patients with diabetes by Dr. Paul Lam. While the focus is on those with diabetes, ALL are welcome to join!

Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that is proven to  strengthen muscles, improve stamina, and reduce blood pressure.  Anyone wishing to take the class should check with their Doctor first.  On class days, wear loose fitting clothing, comfortable shoes and bring water.  Classes will last one hour. The exercises will be done in a standing or seated position. It will not be necessary to move to the floor. Classes are being offered at no charge.
