The Administration Coordinating Committee provides the administrative skills necessary to sustain the mission and continued growth of the parish community and its buildings and grounds.

Audit Committee

Conducts a yearly internal audit. All members are appointed by the pastor.

Kroger Community Rewards

Chairperson: Helen Hagan
The program allocates funds to us, based on your purchases. For St. Francis Xavier to get credit, enroll your Kroger Plus Card online at Krogercommunityrewards.com  and then choose our church.

Golf Scramble

Chairperson: Mike Bass

Fundraising project for both men and women that supports the financial needs of the parish and encourages parish and community involvement.  Committee members are needed to help coordinate, organize and recruit sponsors and participants.

Taste of St. Francis Xavier

Chairperson: Jennifer Sweeney

A winter fundraiser that includes food samplings from a variety of restaurants, items are displayed for silent auction, with live music, and fellowship. Needed are those willing to serve on a committee to gather auction items, recruit restaurants, help with the auction and setup of facility.

Stewardship Committee

Chairperson: Ed Scott
Stewardship is a concrete way for us to give thanks to God for all the blessings we have received. The Stewardship Committee helps maintain our parish stewardship process. The committee is focused on assisting the pastor in the areas of communication, implementation, follow-up and evaluation of the parish stewardship process and associated activities.

Community Garden

Chairperson: Sandee Clark

Our Garden Ministry provides organically grown vegetables to the Mount Washington Ministries for weekly distribution to those in need. From March through October our team of adults (single, married and seniors) carefully plant, weed, water and nurture and harvest the vegetables. Having a “green thumb” is not required, just a desire to help others. Interested persons can volunteer as much or as little as their schedules allow.

Buildings and Grounds

Chairperson: Bobby Grace

Provides assistance in the maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds of the parish. Performs renovation and construction projects that fit within the capabilities of the volunteers.  Needed are volunteers with experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry, painting, concreting, roofing, heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, flooring, welding, surveying, engineering, construction, or landscaping. As new building projects commence, there will also be a specific need for those skilled in exterior and interior design, architecture, contracting, project management, building financing, and building supplies, etc.

Cemetery Maintenance

Volunteers willing to assist with mowing and trimming of the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery located on S. Snapp Street behind Subway.

Office Volunteers

Chairperson: Jennifer Sweeney

Provides assistance to the Parish Office staff.  Needed are volunteers available during the day to assist with phones, mailings, and other various projects.

Planned Giving

Chairperson: Steve Tillman

Planned giving allows your generosity and support of St. Francis Xavier Church by making a provision in your will naming our parish. For people of faith, estate and financial planning is a key component of stewardship.

Newsletter Committee

Chairperson: Rhonda Abner

Prepares a quarterly newsletter, The Crossroads Messenger, that is mailed to every registered family and posted on-line. The purpose of the newsletter is to engage parishioners to get involved in vibrant parish life, inform parishioners about services provided by the various ministries to better serve those in need, and nurture a deeper understanding of living life as a Christian disciple. Content will include inspiring, uplifting stories, celebrating successes in a positive, heartfelt manner.  Needed are volunteers with interests in writing and/or photography who are willing to help prepare and gather articles about parish activities as well as prepare bulk mailings.

Super Raffle

Chairpersons: Brian & Joann Rueve

Super Raffle is the Parish’s largest fundraiser. In the spring of the year, a limit of 5,000 – $20 raffle tickets are sold over a seven-week period. First place gets the choice of a new car or $20,000, second place receives $1500 and third place receives $500. Parishioners are needed to serve on the planning committee, to prepare/distribute tickets and envelopes after weekend Masses, sell tickets and/or buy tickets, distribute/setup promotional signs and flyers, sell tickets under a canopy on church campus in flexible two hour shifts.

Long Range Plan

Chairperson: Mitchell Elder

Came into being to discuss and formulate an updated long range plan for the campus of the parish for her programs and gatherings as well as the wider community. The LRP is currently working on Phase One with the building of a new Parish Life Center as well as renovation of the 1965 church building.
