The furnace repairs were completed earlier than expected and the Parish Offices have reopened as of Thursday, December 12th at 9AM.

An Advent Deanery Communal Penance Service will be held at St. Joseph Church in Bardstown on Sunday, December 8^th @ 2:00 PM for those interested in the Sacrament of Reconciliation before the Christmas holydays.

Join Representatives from all of the different Ministries here at St. Francis Xavier on Sunday, December 8th from 10AM – 1PM in the Xavier Center. All are invited for donuts, coffee, milk, and juice and to learn about the opportunities available to share your time and talent with your church and community.

The SFX Margaritas with Mary book study group meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday at 7PM in the Xavier Center Classroom. Whether or not you’re a SFX parishioner – or Catholic – we’d love to see you there! All females 18+ are welcome! Of course, the margaritas are reserved for those 21 and older.

The current book being discussed is FerVent by Priscilla Shirer. There is still time to catch up, or just jump into the discussion.

We regret to announce that this year’s Christmas Movie Night has been cancelled. There were just not enough people signed up to attend. We hope to be able to host this event next year.

The 7th Grade RE Class will be hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner for the seniors of our parish on Sunday, November 10th at 2PM in the Xavier Center. Please RSVP through this link or contact the Parish Office.

The SFX High School Group will be raffling off a Gift Card Advent Calendar on Sunday November 24th.

Each pocket of the Advent Calendar contains a gift card ranging in value from $5 – $15. Raffle tickets are $5 each and will be sold after all the masses the weekends of Nov 16th/17th and Nov 23rd/24th.
