Dear Parishioners,

I would like to solicit feedback from you on how you believe things are going here at St. Francis Xavier now that I am completing my first year of ministry among you. I want to use a tool I teach preachers to use when giving one another feedback on their preaching. The feedback method is called “The Rose.”

Here is how it works:

1.           You name something good that is happening. (A Rose)

2.           You name something that could be better. (A Thorn)

3.           You name something you would look forward to seeing “bloom” in the future. (A Bud)

Completing all three steps is necessary for your thoughts to be read, but your thoughts may remain anonymous.

I am asking that all feedback be sent to our office (or completed online) by Monday, July 13. I will then create a summary of thoughts I can share with the community.
